PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, San Francisco, California

Hydrogeologist/Environmental Engineer, Office of Underground Storage Tanks 1991-present.  Provide technical support and information to State Underground Storage Tank (UST) program managers for AZ, CA, HI, NV, Guam, American Samoa, and Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI).  Direct UST/LUST program implementation on Indian Lands in Region 9 including: Interaction with Tribal Personnel; Interaction with other Federal agencies; Interaction with tank owners and operators; Review of consultant reports; Regulatory Interpretations; Education and outreach; and Supervision of in-house contracts.  Participate in national level policy and decision making groups including ASTM committees of Guide for Corrective Action for Petroleum Releases E-1599, Risk-Based Corrective Action E1739, and Remediation by Natural Attenuation.

Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, Berkeley, California
